Philosophy

Process:
Once the working relationship on a project is established, we turn to practical concerns, such as budget and schedule. Roles, responsibilities and processes are established and agreed to by all parties at the outset of the project. Programmatic criteria are defined, such as types, quantities, adjacencies of spaces, as well as any site, building or code restrictions. The design concept is established in close collaboration with the client. In order to help our clients communicate, we use a process of imaging, whereby clients respond to many different images independent of their project, which provides insight into their underlying aesthetic.

Once the program and design aesthetic are established, we fuse them into a project design concept. At each step in the project, from the schematic phase though construction administration, finishes, furnishings and accessories, we are guided by that concept. This allows us to deliver a concise, articulate, coherent visual statement providing optimum client satisfaction.
