Project: Callaghan Seattle Residence   Project Description: Remodel and addition for 8,000 sq. ft. home   Programmatic Criteria: The client wanted a home reminiscent of a traditional urban town home that you might find in London or Paris, but with a modern twist. It was important that the home be functional for a family with teenage children. A Family Room addition off of the Kitchen, a second level addition of a new Master Suite were required, as well as the development of the (unfinished) third floor and basement. An important design requirement was that the living spaces would be able to stand on their visual merit, without needing composed, structured furniture arrangements to make the spaces look complete.
